JW-Jones is said to be the best young guitar slinger this side of the border (Canada that is). After listening to Defibrillatin' the title is rightfully his. On the record JW-Jones busts his guitar chops through 10 gut twisting blues tracks. Not once does he repeat the same guitar lick. JW-Jones is all about progression and progress he does. At such a young age JW-Jones has already mastered the ability to force any tone, any sound, out of his guitar. He puts this ability to good and creates wonderfully inspiring songs such as Dizzy Spell and Sittin' Here Waiting. Other noteworthy cuts on the record include Trying So Hard and the title song Defibrillatin'. If you have an ear for creative guitar music, the JW-Jones Blues Band is definitely for you.
