Janiva Magness Named Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year.
Janiva Magness was named the Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year at the 2006 Blues Music Awards (BMAs) held in Memphis.  This is Janiva’s first Blues Music Award and we are just delighted here at NorthernBlues Music.  We’ve always know she is a world-class act; now the whole world knows!
